To Whom it may Concern; My ASUS Eee PC SeaShell 1215N PU27 BK Series Notebook Bluetooth Module is reporting, 'Device USB VID13D3&PID3315 74F06DCA5B5D requires further installation. Uninstalling & re-installing module Driver made absolutely no difference what so ever!
Also the event report is basically indicating that there must be additional drivers required to complete the module Driver Installation! But, In my case that's where there is the rub! My Bluetooth Module is using a Broadcom Driver! When I searched for an updated Bluetooth Broadcom Driver what they offered,WIDCOMM, for Win10 Pro x64 which is supposed to be for my Operating System, but when I attempted to install the Update Win 10 reported that the BROADCOM WIDCOMM WIN10 x64 UPDATE is not compatible with my Win10 Pro x64 ver 1607, build 14393.105 Operating System!

If you have tried to update the driver without success try doing a manual update for WINDOWS 10 PRO. Click on the Windows Start Icon (lower left) and click the second Icon (Settings) In the settings window click on Update & Security button then click on (CHECK FOR UPDATES) If there is a required update for the device, Windows Update will download the driver for you. Be sure you restart your system to lock in the updated driver. The new WINDOWS 10 PRO IS VERSION 1607 BUILD 14393.222 That may be part of your problem I Hope I Have Helped!!
UPDATE: I've fitted a replacement HD into this troublesome Optiplex 380 and installed Windows 7 Pro on it from a Dell re-installation disk. The same problem with unrecognized USB memory sticks and HDs still occurs, even after updating the drivers and installing all the Windows updates. However, if after plugging in a USB stick I go into Device Manager, go to View Devices by Connection and open the tree down to USB2 Enhanced Host Controller USB Hub Unknown device, then uninstall the USB Hub, I immediately get a popup saying 'This device can perform faster if connected to a USB2 port'. I can then access the stick contents normally. I can also use any other USB stick or HD in any other USB port This only works until the computer is shut down, on a restart Windows detects USB Root Hubs and installs Device Drivers, and I'm back to the USB Device not recognised scenario again, when plugging in a USB stick. So, I next disabled the USB2 Enhanced Host Controller - now all USB memory sticks and HDs work - except that I get the 'This device can perform faster.'
Disabling the USB2 controller also works in XP. So, it looks like there is a problem with the USB2 Enhanced Host Controller or the driver for it. Any Dell technicians able to comment on this?
